    About Abigail Pollock

https://www.cloudhousebodywork.com Cloud House is a community-made massage therapy practice working to disrupt barriers of access to integrative models of medicine and healthcare, particularly for my trans and disabled clients. Believing that care work is guided by the consent and intuition of the client, and centering our lived experiences alongside evidence-based practice, I integrate the personal, the ancestral and the communal to seek stories of rest, sufficiency and change that will sustain us.

    • House Massage

The signature treatment offers a combination of nervous system rest, re-balancing and attentive focus on areas of restriction and pain for full body restoration. Each session draws on the therapists background in Chinese bodywork techniques, luxury spa and medical massage as well as the needs and experiences of the client, building a highly personalized and sensitive flow each session.

    • Gender Inclusive Prenatal Massage

Our prenatal massage is for all gestating and pregnant bodies, with an emphasis on providing supportive and informed care for queer and trans people navigating the birth process. As a therapist certified in prenatal massage, I work cooperatively alongside your birth care team to reduce discomfort and encourage optimum health outcomes through the second and third trimester.

    • Pre/Post Surgery Massage

Massage in the weeks before and after surgery may positively affect stress and pain levels and reduce risk of post-surgical complications. Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) assists the healing process by preventing fluid buildup, flushing excess and bringing fresh lymph and oxygenated blood to the healing site. Scar tissue manipulation assists the body in aligned formation of scar tissue, prevents restriction of tissue mobility around the site and promotes a balanced immune system response for optimal healing.
