    Heather Saluti is a queer, trans, disabled, neurodivergent expressive arts practioner and grief-worker based on the unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, & Tsleil-Waututh peoples in so-called burnaby, bc. They operate fioritura expressive arts therapy, an accessible community-focused grassroots initiative, which delivers 1:1 sliding scale sessions and community arts-based workshops that are geared towards those who are grieving, disabled/sick/neurodivergent/mad people, and LGBTQ2S+ folks. Heather is available to virtually work with clients located anywhere.

      Expressive arts therapy is a combination of talking and creating, exploring what image(s) come up, and going deeper into getting to know them by integrating multiple art forms into exploration. In a single session, we may make create visual art, some creative writing, explore metaphor through object(s), move, engage in breath work, etc. Each session looks different because each person is different. Sessions are catered to what you need right now in this moment and come from a place of curiosity and wonder.

      Want to plan collaborate together and plan a specialized session for/with a group of your friends or colleagues and split the cost? With your guidance, I will create a nuanced 2-hour session that will aid in creating and connecting. Cost includes up to 8 people in a session.

      Grief support looks different for everyone because grief shifts and changes so frequently. Grief doesn’t ever go away, but rather, we find ways to integrate that grief into our life. We grow and change around that grief. Grief is not just sadness. Grief is a spectrum of emotions. Some ways of supporting: - identifying and establishing creative grief practice - holding space for you to talk candidly about who you are grieving - assisting in building grief and/or ancestor altars - developing intentional grief time/space - building an ongoing relationship with the person you are grieving

    • 1-Hour Creative Neurodivergent Coaching

      Together we can explore: -self-advocacy -discovering and naming access needs -integrating access needs into your home, work, and social life -exploring friendships / relationships -implementing boundaries -discovering values - making sense of a class curriculum and/or assignment - being an idea sounding board - assisting in connecting ideas to strengthen goals or personal projects - resume, CV, and cover letter assistance
